Radius is the latest local business to support the town's young people by becoming a founder patron of Crewe Youth Zone, set to be built in 2025.
As a founder patron, Radius will contribute towards the charity's annual running costs, enabling the new Youth Zone to offer first class facilities, opportunities and support for thousands of young people living in Crewe.
Once opened, Crewe Youth Zone, located on Oak Street Car Park, will be an independent charity with a private sector-led board.
It will be part of the OnSide Network of 15 Youth Zones nationwide, supporting more than 55,000 young people annually.
Youth Zones are open to young people aged between eight and 19 (up to 25 for those with additional needs), seven days a week, for just 50p a visit.
Young people who sign up will have access to an indoor climbing wall, four court sports hall, training kitchen, music room with a recording studio, fully equipped gym, dance and drama studio, 3G football pitch, arts and crafts room, and enterprise and employability suite.
Trained youth workers and dedicated volunteers will be available seven days a week to offer guidance and holistic support to help the young people who attend.
The Youth Zone will create permanent full and part-time jobs, as well as many volunteering opportunities.
The partnership formed after the Radius team visited Warrington Youth Zone and were so inspired by what it offered, they wanted to help bring the same opportunities to the young people of Crewe.
Radius supports business fleets of all sizes both in Crewe and globally, by helping teams stay connected with customers and colleagues to run more efficiently.
It offers a range of services and products including fuel cards, telematics, vehicle leasing, EV charge points, telecoms and insurance.
Chief people officer at Radius, Emma Quinn, said: "In becoming a founder patron of Crewe Youth Zone, this further highlights our commitment to the local community.
"We are supporting this initiative that will see OnSide offer outstanding facilities to young people in Crewe whilst giving them opportunities to speak with trained youth workers.
"Following our visit to the Warrington Youth Zone, we were incredibly impressed by the professional setup and felt that we could support a similar initiative in Crewe.
"As an organisation that's been offering employment opportunities to people in the local area for over three decades, we are committed to giving back and so are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause."
Currently, the Youth Zone's Young People's Development Group, a group of local young people who have engaged with the Youth Zone since its announcement, is working with an agency on creating two options for the brand and name.
Once two are finalised, the young people of Crewe will vote on which brand they'd like the Youth Zone to adopt.
Crewe Youth Zone Chair, Graham Ramsbottom, said: "We are delighted to welcome Radius as a founder patron of Crewe Youth Zone.
"I would like to say a huge thank you to Bill, Emma and the team for their generous support and for investing in the next generation of local young people.
"Crewe Youth Zone will provide the very best facilities, support and opportunities. It will be the place that the town's young people deserve, and the backing from local businesses like Radius is essential to its success."
Crewe Youth Zone is being delivered in partnership with OnSide, Cheshire East Council and supported by several businesses and philanthropists.
The founder patron campaign aims to achieve long-term sustainability, ensuring Crewe Youth Zone will be an asset to the community, transforming young people's lives for generations to come.
OnSide continues to raise the remainder of the first three years' running costs for Crewe Youth Zone and urges local businesses and philanthropists to join the Founder Patron family.
Crewe Youth Zone is due to open in the second half of 2025.
