A South Cheshire nightclub is planning to open until 4am at weekends, extending its current hours by one hour.

On Monday 19 February, Chester Events & Bars submitted a premises licence application on behalf of The Studio, Castle Street, Nantwich.

The 800-capacity venue seeks permission to remain open from 12pm until 4am on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Studio seeks permission to remain open from 12pm until 4am on Friday and Saturday nights (Jonathan White).

It wants to continue the supply of alcohol, recorded music, performance of dance and the provision of anything of a similar description during these hours.

The licensing application is on display at the Nantwich nightclub, which boasts three bars over three floors.

The premises license application reads: Notice is hereby given that we, Chester Events & Bars have applied on 19th February 2024 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as The Studio, Castle Street, Nantwich.

"This is for a full variation to vary the following licensable activities:

"Supply of alcohol, recorded music, performance of dance, provision of anything of a similar description to live music, recorded music or performances of dance, Friday to Saturday, 12pm to 4am."

Representations to The Studio's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Wednesday 27 March.

The Studio, which has a capacity of 800, has three bars over three floors (Jonathan White).
