Crewe woman charged following drink driving incident in town

A Crewe woman has been charged with drink drinking and is set to appear at court next month, following an incident in the town.
On Friday 7 June, Cheshire Police received reports of a female driving a silver MINI Cooper under the influence of alcohol in Crewe.
At 5:45pm, officers stopped the vehicle on Hungerford Road, with the driver arrested at the scene after failing a breath test.
Jade Parker, 37, of Oxford Street, has since been charged with drink driving.
The Crewe woman is set to appear in court on Thursday 11 July.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 5.32pm on Friday 7 June, police were called to reports of a woman was driving a silver Mini-Cooper while under the influence of alcohol in Crewe.
"Officers subsequently stopped the car Hungerford Road at 5.45pm and the driver was arrested after failing a breath test.
"Jade Parker, 37, of Oxford Street, Crewe, has since been charged with the offence.
"She has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on 11 July, 2024."
