COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Wrexham, Chester, Deeside, Oswestry, Ellesmere, Whitchurch, Crewe, Shrewsbury, Mold, Rhyl, Market Drayton, Nantwich, Runcorn, Liverpool JOB DESCRIPTION: Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer - CAD, Print, Automation As our Design Engineer, you'll be involved in designing our market leading line equipment and fixtures in our UK and International facilities. You'll be involved from the design stage, right through to the build and implementation stages, so you can see your designs come to life. You'll be using SOLIDWORKS to develop designs. You'll also maintain detailed documents of designs, modifications and project progress. In this role you'll be: Testing and validating your designs to ensure sound performance Involved in the build stage of the process, keeping your hands-on skills well polished Providing support for modifications and design changes at build and commissioning stage PERSON SPECIFICATION: Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer - CAD, Print, Automation Ideally, you'll have completed your degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar and have an interest in mechanical assembly design. You'll have experience working on 3D CAD, ideally with SOLIDWORKS, designing machinery with the likes of pneumatics and motors. You'll be hands on during the build phase.
