Tom's Tap and Brewhouse, based in Thomas Street near the Cumberland Sports Ground, is Crewe's premiere small brewery and bar. It has already made a name for itself on the comedy circuit with a successful run of stand-up comedy nights.
This month sees the first appearance of globe trotting Kiwi Comedian Sully O'Sullivan. He has been declared a highlight of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival by The Scotsman, won the International Improvaganza Tournament in Canada, featured on Australian TV's 'The Comedy Channel' and in 2021 sold out every single night of his 22 date Edinburgh Fringe run.
Support is from Jimmy Shirley and Rich Davenport, both accomplished performers in their own right.
Jimmy Shirley is an up and coming Comedy superstar, he reached the final of "So you think you're funny" in 2021 and was a finalist in the Southport Comedy New Act contest 2022.
Rich Davenport is a stand-up comedian, rock guitarist and comedy poet from exotic Bolton, described as "At once down-to-earth and utterly surreal." He's performed well-received comedy sets at a diverse range of events, including 2022 appearances at the Morecambe Poetry Festival on a bill with John Cooper Clarke and Henry Normal.
MC Roland Gent is your host for the evening. Roland has won awards at The Edinburgh Fringe for his shows 'Best Laid Marketing Plans' and '9-5 Idiot'.
The show is on Thursday 16th March, doors open at 7:30 admission is £5. Tickets are available online here.
