Crewe care firm announces pay rise at staff celebration night

A SOUTH Cheshire care company marked a celebration event for staff with the award of a pay rise.
Right at Home marked the achievements of its community care givers who were nominated by both clients and colleagues for providing excellent care at a ceremony at the Aroma Café Bar, Nantwich
And on the night the care company's bosses announced a nine per cent pay hike for front line workers employed by the company as CareGivers.
Their pay increases from £11.75 to £12.25 per hour plus annual leave and other benefits.
Ben Selby, owner of Right at Home South Cheshire said: "It was fantastic to be able to recognise just a few of the individuals who consistently excel in their key roles and also to be able to increase pay significantly in recognition of the value we place on our care workers."

Dementia CareGiver of the Year – Jenny WTeamwork Award – Alison G
Office employee of the Year – Keri MCareGiver of the Year – Alison R
Right at Home provides care and support to people living in their own homes, predominantly in Crewe and Nantwich, but also extending to Alsager, Sandbach, Middlewich and Winsford.
It currently supports more than 80 clients and employs a team of over 70 CareGivers. It is looking to recruit a further 30 CareGivers over the next year.
