Co-op colleagues team up to create kart for Crewe Krazy Races
Co-op colleagues from the food and funeral care branches have teamed together to create the "Co-op Dream Team" for Crewe Krazy Races on Sunday 14 July.
The Kart is taking shape, with the team working hard to create the Blue co-op vehicle.
Co-op colleagues hope to raise money for the Barnardo's charity.
A Just Giving page has been created, with Co-op appeciating donations and support at the Crewe event starting from 10:45am.
Crewe Krazy Races will take place on Broad Street, Ford Lane and Brooklands.
A Co-op spokesperson told Nub News: "The events of recent years have left over a third of young people feeling that the odds are stacked against them. W
"We think young people deserve a better future, and so we have teamed up with Barnardo's to bring communities together to support young people.
"Help Co-op transform the lives of the UK's most vulnerable young people, together we can help thousands of families to build a better future.
"Your donation will make a real difference to young peoples lives.
"Please also come along and cheer us to the winning line. Thank you.
