Local man charged following burglaries and bike thefts in Crewe

Cheshire Police officers from Crewe Neighbourhood Policing Team have charged a local man, in relation to two burglaries and multiple bike thefts in the town.

Christopher Evanson was arrested on Sunday 21 January, in relation to a shed burglary on Ivatt Drive and a burglary at a business premises on Weston Avenue.

The 35-year-old, of Frank Bott Avenue, appeared at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 23 January where he was remanded in custody.

Evanson, has also been charged in relation to the theft of a number of bicycles.

He is next set to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 27 February.
