Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations across the production facility
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles
  • Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and output are consistently met
  • Develop and lead a high-performing operations team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads to meet business objectives
  • Maintain and analyse KPIs to drive operational efficiency and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations
  • Optimise planning and scheduling processes to meet customer and production demands
  • Lead ERP system utilisation for improved planning and reporting
  • Present operational insights and performance updates to senior management and the board
  • Coach, mentor and develop operational staff at all levels
About You
  • Proven experience in a senior operations or manufacturing management role
  • Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential we welcome candidates from a range of manufacturing sectors
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, proactive management style
  • In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic thinker with the drive to progress into an executive leadership position
