Powertrain Data Administrator Contract: Outside IR35

Hybrid (2-3 days on site)

Location: Crewe

35 hours per week

We re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support certification and type approval processes within a leading automotive R&D environment. As a Powertrain Data Administrator, you will play a key role in managing technical data catalogues critical to powertrain homologation, helping ensure compliance across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation, maintenance, and administration of technical data catalogues in DMS.
  • Coordinate with R&D teams to gather and track certification data across model years.
  • Lead alignment on data ownership and delivery responsibilities across functional departments.
  • Monitor data population progress, report KPIs, and manage weekly support meetings with stakeholders.
  • Administer catalogue reviews, sign-offs, and downstream change management.
  • Maintain system integrity in response to regulatory updates and project requirements.

What You ll Need:

  • Experience or knowledge of powertrain certification or type approval processes.
  • Familiarity with document/data management systems (ideally DMS).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate across multiple technical teams.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
