Description
- Supervise daily financial operations, ensuring all processes align with company policies.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports and reconciliations.
- Oversee completion of monthly billing cycles, ensuring all orders are processed and invoices are accurately raised
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve billing disputes
- Monitor compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to address financial queries and provide necessary guidance.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements within the finance department.
- Provide training and support to junior team members to enhance their skillset.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of any finding
Profile
The successful Senior Finance Assistant should have:
- Proven experience in a finance or billing operations role, within a fast-paced business environment - Essential
- Interested in supervising or mentoring a small team - Essential
- Strong understanding of financial systems and reporting procedures - Essential
- Analytical mindset with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving - Essential
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally - Essential
- Be studying towards relevant financial qualification, or have equivalent experience - Essential
