Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service has recently dealt with two small fires at a Crewe park - believed to have been started deliberately.
The latest incident on McLaren Street, Crewe occurred at 9:30pm on Friday (April 1).
One fire engine from Crewe arrived at the scene and handled the incident.
A water backpack was used by firefighters to put out the small fire in the Coppenhall area.
The incident comes just six days after a fire was deliberately set on the open ground in the same area.
One fire engine contained the fire at 7:33pm on March 26.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At around 9.30pm on Friday 1 April, police received reports of anti-social behaviour on a field off McLaren Avenue in Crewe.
"The reports indicated that young people gathered there were setting small fires on the field.
"Officers are investigating the incidents and monitoring the area. Anyone who sees anti-social behaviour to report it to police."
McLaren Street playing fields consists of a large field, children's playground and MUGA - predominantly used for football.
A review of the park on Google by a Mrs Gemma Paget from Crewe reads: "The play park itself needs a lot of TLC. The grass was all cut up and is a fabulous park for playing football or walking the dog.
"A fabulous little basketball/football court, a lovely sun trap too."
The park is located next to a West Coast Main Line - a problem for footballs being kicked over.
Elliah Haydes from Crewe also recently posted: "A big field combined with a good size MUGA/astro turf pitch and playground area.
"The MUGA walls are too low down and need to be higher as kids are continually belting their footballs over onto the train tracks then dangerously climbing over."
Anyone with any information about these incidents are urged to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
