A car crashed into bollards outside a McDonald's drive thru in Crewe, with the restaurant closing to motorists until the vehicle was recovered.

On Saturday 6 April, Cheshire Police received reports of a one-vehicle collision on Dunwoody Way, outside McDonald's.

At around 6:45pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a blue Volkswagen Polo had crashed into wooden bollards.

McDonald's closed its drive thru service until the Volkswagen was recovered and the area was cleared (Ryan Parker).

No injuries were reported in the collision, with no arrests made.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 6.45pm on Saturday 6 April, police were called to reports of a one-vehicle collision in Dunwoody Way.

"There were no reports of any injuries."
