Project Manager Crewe Up to £50,000 + Car allowance Hybrid

The opportunity:

Are you an experienced Project Manager with NEC4 contract experience, looking to work on a long-term project delivering safety critical products and infrastructure redevelopment across the south of England?

We are recruiting for a Project Manager, who wants the opportunity to be involved in a first of its kind framework agreement, between some of UK rails biggest supply chain companies in delivery safety critical initiatives.

This position would be well suited to someone who thrives with delivering projects on time and is comfortable with building external relationships and cross-company collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the communications and delivery of product related projects.
  • Be comfortable with conducting root cause analysis and ensuring that any issues are rectified for both new and existing products, to ensure customer satisfaction and project progression in line with plans.
  • Ensure timely delivery of key, safety critical products.
  • Build internal and external relationships to ensure continuous improvement and timely delivery of plans, products and services.

Candidate essentials:

  • Previous experience of delivering NEC4 contracts (Ideally within Rail however this is not essential).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Excellent root cause analysis capabilities and experience.
  • Continuous improvement/Six Sigma experience (Not essential).

Qualifications:

  • Project Management Qualifications (Eg. PMI/APM).
  • NEC4 ECC Project Manager Accreditation (Ideal but not essential)
  • Driving Licence.
  • Six Sigma (Ideal but not essential).

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of project management or delivery within the Rail industry.
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical)
