The Job:

Feature Development: Design and define technical product specifications for connected car features applicable across production programs, concept demonstrations, and research activities.

Validation & Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive validation test plans for connected car features, covering customer-oriented road and track scenarios, as well as internal product development, manufacturing, marketing, and aftersales services.

Program Management: Deliver program gateway documentation, including feature definitions, risk assessments, validation plans, timelines, and cost estimates.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the connected car ecosystem adheres to global legislation, safety standards, and best practices for cybersecurity and data privacy.

Supplier Coordination: Manage supplier relationships for cloud infrastructure, mobile connectivity, cybersecurity, data services, and IoT applications, ensuring seamless integration into the customer experience and business value streams.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute proactively to the development of connected car technologies and support internal business growth initiatives.

Your Background:

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of automotive E/E architectures for vehicle control and connected car services.

Telematics Systems: Experience with global telematics systems, including ERA-GLONASS, eCall, bCall, and stolen vehicle tracking (SVT).

Connected Features: Familiarity with technologies such as remote cabin pre-conditioning, V2V/V2I communication, and cybersecurity protocols.

Product Delivery: Proven track record in delivering automotive products from concept to production.

Desirable;

Standards & Compliance: Understanding of automotive safety and cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO 26262, UNECE WP.29).

Supplier Knowledge: Familiarity with key global connected car ecosystem suppliers and proven supplier management experience.

Soft Skills:

Collaboration: Strong team player, promoting cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Mentorship: Ability to guide and mentor junior team members.

Detail-Oriented: High standards for quality, reliability, and safety.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Time Management: Effective personal workload organization with a flexible approach to working hours.

Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
