What You ll Be Doing You ll be selling Plant / Machinery into the construction sector, working with well-known brands, realistic targets, proper support, and the kind of autonomy that lets you focus on building relationships and growing your own patch (Cheshire and Shropshire). You ll focus on:
  • Excavators, skid steers, and tracked vehicles (up to 3-tonne range)
  • Selling to end users construction firms, civils, groundworks, contractors, and landscapers or all sizes from one-man bands to large nationals.
  • Generating new business with a proactive approach and on-site demos
What You ll Need
  • Experience in plant machinery sales or a strong background in construction with the desire and personality to move into sales
  • A proactive mindset you ll need to develop new business, this is not just an accounts management role.
  • Confidence to engage with everyone from owner-operators to major contractors
  • This is a field-based role; therefore, a driving license is essential.
What s on Offer
  • Up to £40,000 basic salary
  • Uncapped bonus realistic first year OTE of £43 45k
  • Company vehicle - Ford Ranger
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown
  • Hybrid working after training 1 or two days in the office and the rest out in the field / working from home.
This position may suit a Field Sales Executive, Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager, operating in the construction equipment, plant and machinery sector.
