TechOps Lead

TechOps Lead to join a well-established professional and talented Infrastructure team. You will have extensive AWS servers experience including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, Route53, S3, RDS and CloudWatch. As the TechOps lead you will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance and management of the IT Infrastructure that supports applications, services, and end users across the business. Always looking at continuous improvement working with cloud and IaC. This is an excellent client working on exciting telematics projects, telecoms to name a few. Skills needed:

  • Cloud, AWS Services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, Route53, S3, RDS and CloudWatch.
  • Infrastructure as a code including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Kubernetes/Docker or other container technologies.
  • Scripting skills including Python and Bash.
  • Good understanding of Linux and database technologies such as Ubuntu, Apache, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Nginx, Mercurial and Git

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be involved in planning and implementing system migrations, modernisations, and integrations to cloud. The culture is very collaborative, and you will work with other teams across the business such as software development, and devops advising on best practice to maintain performance and availability. The client are AWS and Linux based, using automation processes and tools to carry out tasks within AWS such as environment builds, scaling, self-healing, monitoring, and patching. Always putting security at the forefront.
