Business Analyst (Finance Experience) Do you have a background or qualification in accountancy/finance? Are you looking for an Analytical position? Do you have a solid foundation in finance and a keen interest in working with ERP systems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This role could suit a Business Analyst who has a previous background in finance OR someone who is a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) that is looking to move into more of an Analytical role. Key Responsibilities As a Business Analyst, you will act as a bridge between customer stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring successful project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with customers to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
- Analysing existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Designing and recommending solutions aligned with business goals.
- Working closely with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented effectively.
- Managing communication and coordination between business and IT teams.
- Experience across the following financial domains:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Bank Transactions
- Understanding of ERP systems and their complexities
- Experience in manufacturing or a similar environment is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with cost accounting and general ledger processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
