Opportunity for a part-qualified or QBE Finance Manager to join a well known business based in Crewe. This role will offer a salary up to 50,000 depending on experience.

Description

Finance Manager responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the management accounting and business partnering activities for Insurance entities
  • Production of a quality monthly financial reporting pack, including full P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
  • Ownership of the monthly inter-company reconciliation process, including loans and currency revaluations
  • Production of analysis of key costs for review by the Head of Finance, and submission of cost details
  • Assisting in Internal/external audit, liaising with the team to ensure adequate, timely information is supplied
  • Ensuring a quality year end audit pack is delivered to the auditors at the end of the financial year
  • Assist the Head of Finance in compliance and regulatory returns
  • Oversee the production and submission of the weekly cashflow forecasts, ensuring they are produced and reviewed before submission.
  • Providing proactive assistance, support and guidance, to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
  • Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects

Profile

The candidate will have/be:

  • ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or Qualified by Experience - Required
  • Experience working within a similar role - Required
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge - Required
  • Experience in interacting with stake-holders at all levels - Desirable
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • Strong technical accounting skills and internal control experience - Required
