Business chain raises the flag for popular Crewe town centre Pride event

Co-op Funeralcare and the Co-op Member Pioneers attended Crewe Pride 2023 on Saturday 8 July, which took place in the town centre.

The Co-op representatives brought a rainbow hearse to highlight that a funeral can be a celebration of life.

They also had a stall at Pride, handing out the popular Pride Co-op bags, flags and stickers. 

Co-op are taking part in a few other pride events in the Cheshire area including Macclesfield and Congleton pride over the next couple of weekends (Peter Robinson).

As a team, they took part in the Pride parade around Crewe town centre, walking with their Co-op rainbow flag. 

Funeral arranger, Louise Rees, told Nub News: "Our Co-op team enjoyed raising the flag for Pride.

"It was an amazing experience walking with everyone in the parade in Crewe and supporting our local community" 

Co-op are taking part in a few other Pride events in the Cheshire area including Macclesfield and Congleton Pride over the next couple of weekends.
