Volunteers at a Crewe community group dedicated to tackling food poverty say Co-op funding has helped them provide support to 50 more families.
Chance Changing Lives volunteers were amazed when their Community Pantry in Coronation Crescent was given a boost with a £7,354.11 windfall from the Co-op's latest round of Local Community Fund payouts.

A therapeutic workshop has been helped to get back up and running after lockdown by Co-op funding.
SCB, which offers employment opportunities for people in the community with learning difficulties, recently received its second dividend, amounting to £1,637.01, as part of the Co-op's Local Community Fund programme.

IN the wake of a survey published this month the Co-op and Cruse Bereavement Support, the UK's leading bereavement charity have announced the launch of a new partnership to help people talk to each other about death and grief more openly.
As Crewe and the rest of the country continues to cope with the legacy of the coronavirus pandemic, many people who have suffered bereavement are finding themselves alone, with no one to turn to.

The Co-op's Christmas campaign, 'Christmas Together with Food' is all about giving thanks and bringing people together through the love of food at this special time of year.
It aims to bring some festive cheer to people's lives, while as part of the campaign Co-op's partnership with Hubbub, the world's largest Community Fridge network, is to be extended.

Co-op customers in the Crewe area are raising funds for the national mental health charity Mind by reading.
They can browse the popular book exchanges set up in the Co-op stores at Shavington and Wistaston. All donations go towards helping the vital work that Mind does tackling the stigma surrounding mental health issues and providing support to those affected.
Co-operate is an online community centre bringing people in Crewe together to make good things happen.
Whether you want to find things to do, volunteer, join a group or set up your own – it's for people who care about their community and want to join forces to get things done.
