By Ryan Parker 25th Aug 2026
The Crewe Prize Draw, supported by Swansway Motor Group, has presented its third charity cheque, with St Paul's Centre receiving £400.50 to help the charity tackle poverty in the town.
The donation comes after just the first four prize draws, with St Paul's Centre using the funds to support its food bank.
David Bratherton, of CW1, was the latest winner of the £1,500 Crewe Prize Draw, encouraging others to support Crewe charities.
Nub News launched the Crewe Prize Draw to help raise money for charities, with St. Paul's Centre one of four charity partners alongside Hopes and Beams, The Wishing Well and Chance Changing Lives..
Supported by Swansway Motor Group, the £400.50 donation helps the Crewe Christian community charity support local people in poverty.

CEO of St Paul's Centre, Jez Chalmers, told Nub News: "This donation from the Crewe Prize Draw will support our brand new campaign, "Not on our watch," launching imminently to support our food bank, helping to keep it running.
"The same crisis that is causing demand to peak is causing donations to drop.
"Our charity relies heavily on local support and wants to invest more in it, shifting the food bank to be community-owned rather than run solely by St Paul's Centre.
"To tackle this community-wide crisis, the food bank is asking for £2 a month donations with the tagline: "A community-wide crisis requires a community-wide response."
"The campaign will feature videos, a new web page, advertisements on billboards and buses, and an evergreen background presence.
"Moving the food bank to Wellington House has provided much more space to handle the increased need, though managing multi-site logistical and health and safety operations has presented new challenges."
The next Crewe Prize Draw takes place this Thursday evening (27 August), with another guaranteed £1,500 top prize up for grabs together with four £20 prizes.
