Crewe man, David Bratherton is the fourth winner of the £1,500 Crewe Prize Draw, who says he'll "keep supporting local charities."

This draw, supported by Swansway Motor Group, not only saw one lucky local resident take home an incredible £1,500 cash prize, but also raised money for good causes across the town, proving everyone can be a winner.

Congratulations David. There were also four lucky winners of £20 each and those tickets were White 6771, White 6800, Green 6357 and Green 7024.

David who lives in CW1, told Nub News: "Winning the £1,500 Crewe prize draw feels good, very good. I was at home, and the only reason I entered was because you emailed me reminding me about the draw.

"I didn't actually enter until two or three days before, "​I thought, 'Why not have a go?'

"​When I first read your email, I thought it had to be something to do with the draw, but I assumed I'd be lower down the list, like third, fourth, or fifth prize. I've never won this sort of money before, just little things here and there.

"It's a solid local thing that is there for Crewe and helps local people. Hopefully, it helps places like the hospital and Hopes and Beams on Broad Street.

"I've done things for the kids in Broad Street in the past, including a charity bungee jump. I really enjoy raising money, but I prefer doing something a bit more extreme like abseiling or bungee jumping rather than standard stuff.

"​My daughter and granddaughter have already said, 'You'll share, won't you?' as you do! The wife isn't sure yet, but I'm sure she'll spend it.

"​To anyone who hasn't entered, I'd say: 'Have a go, you've got nothing to lose.'

"It's £2 a ticket, there's no pressure, and you can buy as many as you want, even if it's just one or two like I did. It feels great to win, and I'll definitely keep supporting local charities."
