THE death of a man in Crewe earlier this year is now not being treated as suspicious.
Two men, aged 22 and 39, were arrested and bailed at the time the body of Mariusz Mokras, 41, was found at a flat in Lord Street on January 3.

CLEAN-UP officers say they are making inroads improving a Crewe street dubbed the "worst" in the town for abandoned bins and fly-tipping.
Myrtle Street, off Eldeston Road, has been blighted by bins left blocking alleyways and the main drag. The abandoned bins have become a magnet for fly-tippers looking to dump their waste and run.

CHESHIRE East Council says it is talking to landowners about the development of a cycling route in Leighton.
The plans are part of a £2.8m spend on walking and cycling routes, which also include another scheme in Wilmslow, aimed at encouraging people to leave their cars on the drive to improve health.

FIRE officers have issued a safety warning after they put out two kitchen blazes.
One fire engine attended at a property in Ludford Street at 10.10pm last night where the chip pan fire was already out but the occupant had suffered burns to his arms. He did not need hospital treatment.
