Two vans damaged in 2am Crewe arson attack

Two vans have been damaged following a blaze in Crewe, believed to be an act of arson.
On Friday 18 April, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of an incident on Foulkes Avenue, between Badger Avenue and Timbrell Avenue.
At 2.11am, one fire engine from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering a van well-alight, with the flames also spreading to a nearby van parked on the street.
Crewe firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the flames in both of the vehicles.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire involving a van in Crewe.
"The van was well alight when crews arrived and second van that was parked nearby also sustained damage from the fire."
No one was injured in the incident, with firefighters calling Cheshire Police to the scene. An investigation remains ongoing.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 2.24am on Friday 18 April, police were called to reports of a van fire on Foulkes Avenue.
"Enquiries in relation to the cause of the fire are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website, quoting IML 2071828."
