Two Crewe town centre roads to remain closed until weekend

Two Crewe town centre roads are set to remain closed until the weekend, as part of maintenance works from Cheshire East Highways.

Heath Street and Hill Street closed to motorists on Monday 8 April and will remain so until midnight on Saturday 13 April.

Maintenance works on roads around Lyceum Square are being carried out in this area all week.

No disabled car parking access is available by Crewe Lyceum Theatre during the roadworks (Ryan Parker).

For anyone wishing to park for the theatre, visitors are encouraged to park on Thomas Street or Delamere Street.

A Crewe Lyceum statement read: "Cheshire East have announced the closure of Heath Street for works to be carried out between 8 to 12 April.

"There will be no disabled car parking access to the spaces adjacent to the venue during this closure.

For anyone wishing to park for the theatre, visitors are encouraged to park on Thomas Street or Delamere Street (Crewe Lyceum).

"The nearest car parks are situated on Thomas Street or Delamere Street."
