A Staffordshire man has been charged with assault following a "punching" and "spitting" incident at a Crewe Railway Station platform.

On Wednesday 1 November, Cheshire Police responded to reports of an incident on Platform 3.

An arrival, officers discovered a drunk male who was being abusive to members of staff, punching one and spitting towards others.

Justin Miller, 23, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with assault and will appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Monday 20 November.
