Crewe bar, restaurant and hotel, The White Lion Weston, has announced the return of its popular Oktoberfest Beer Festival, taking place on Friday 4 October and Saturday 5 October.

Now in its third year, the event is set to be hosted in a large marquee in the Weston pub's beer garden, off Main Road.

Oktoberfest Beer Festival 2024 will celebrate the German tradition in true style with long tables, steins to drink from and a whole host of entertainment throughout the day.

Doubling down on its authentic experience, guests can enjoy a variety of German food, including Bratwurst (German sausage), from the venue's outdoor grill over the duration of the weekend. 

To further mark the occasion, The White Lion Weston has lined up an inspired selection of ales and largers including Amstel and various krombacher and pilsners. 

This is not a ticketed event so you are free to turn up as and when you please and enjoy the festivities on offer, including live music from: 

  • Friday: 5PM - 7PM - Tim Nova
  • Friday: 8PM - 10PM - Audley Brass Band
  • Saturday: 12PM - 2PM - Emilie Lierre
  • Saturday: 2PM - 4PM - Small Horse and the Plan
  • Saturday: 4PM - 6PM - Ash Wall
  • Saturday: 6PM - 8PM - Le Beat
  • Saturday: 8PM - 10PM - Audley Brass Band

The White Lion Weston has made a number of exciting announcements in recent months as it cements its reputation as one of the go-to eateries in the Cheshire area.

Oktoberfest Beer Festival 2024 will celebrate the German tradition in true style with long tables, steins to drink from and a whole host of entertainment throughout the day (The White Lion Weston).

In August, it was awarded a prestigious Open Table Diner's Choice Award and announced as a finalist in the UK Small Business Awards for 'Best Restaurant/Food Business'.

The White Lion Weston recently launched a brand new menu, featuring a whole host of homemade pub classics which you can read more about here. 

Owner of The White Lion, Carl Boulton, said: "Oktoberfest is always a fun-filled weekend for us and this year is set to be better than ever. 

"We have got a whole of host of entertainment planned from a Bongo-style Bingo at 7pm on 4 October to the incredible 30 plus piece orchestra that is Audley Brass Band on the Saturday evening.
