A Crewe pub and hotel continues to go from strength-to-strength, after it won a highly-regarded OpenTable Diners' Choice Award.
The sought-after accolade is awarded based on feedback from guests who have dined at The White Lion Weston, Main Road having booked through OpenTable.
Following their visit, guests are prompted, by OpenTable, to provide feedback on the key elements of their experience including; service, ambience, food and value, with The White Lion scoring highly, thus qualifying for the Diner's Choice Award.
The news comes hot off the back of the pub recently announcing they're a finalist for 'Best Restaurant/Food Business' in the UK Small Business Awards.
Owner of The White Lion Weston, Carl Boulton, told Nub News: "We are absolutely delighted to have won a Diner's Choice Award, especially with it being based on real-life guest experiences.
"It is a testaments to team's incredibly hard work and their desire to make every guests experience a good one.
"It has been a very exiting few weeks for the pub with the UK Small Business Award shortlist announcement coming in just last week.
"Our prominent placement at the Nantwich Food Festival is rapidly approaching at the end of the month, so this really is the icing on the cake."
Earlier this month, The White Lion Weston announced the launch of a brand new menu, all freshly prepared by the pub's six-strong kitchen team, led by head chef Conor Kiddie.
The menu features a whole host of pub classics including; brisket burger, trio of bangers and mash and butter chicken curry to name just a few.
Carl said: "Hospitality can be a very hard sector to be in at times but to receive such recognition makes it all worth it and is a fantastic boost to the team.
"We will display our Diner's Choice Award badge with pride in the pub and continue to strive to offer the best food, ambience and service possible."
The White Lion Weston is open 8:30am to 11pm (Monday to Saturday) and 8:30am to 11pm (Sunday).
