Crewe's Apollo Buckingham Health Sciences Campus hosted a vibrant and energetic Dandia Night, a celebration of Indian culture and tradition.

Held on Friday 11 October, the event was sold out and attended by members of both Indian and non-Indian communities, making it a true testament to cultural unity.

Attendees came from Crewe and neighbouring towns such as Macclesfield, Stoke, Manchester, and Congleton, all eager to participate in this joyous occasion.

Dandia Night was organised in collaboration with DJ Bobby and Bombaye Junction, who operate within the Crewe campus (Nub News).

Together, they ensured that the night was filled with music, dance, and cultural celebration.

Participants, dressed in colourful traditional attire, danced in unison to the rhythmic beats of Dandiya and Garba, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

The event not only highlighted the rich heritage of India but also served as a bridge for cultural exchange, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds.

Apollo Buckingham Health Sciences Campus played a key role in making the event a success, providing a platform for inclusivity and celebration.

Dandia Night was sold out and attended by members of both Indian and non-Indian communities (Nub News).

One attendee from Manchester told Nub News: "It was a night to remember, an evening of dance, music, and togetherness. We are so glad to be part of this beautiful tradition."

The success of Dandia Night has set a high bar for future cultural events at the Crewe Green Road campus, with many attendees already looking forward to 2025's celebration.
