Police appeal after three car windscreens smashed in Crewe South

Crewe Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following suspected criminal damage of three vehicles in Crewe.

Between Friday 11 October and Saturday 12 October, Cheshire Police received reports of incidents on Fanshawe Walk and Firwood Walk, Brookhouse Estate.

At around 10.50pm on the Friday, officers were alerted to smashed car windscreen on Fanshawe Walk.

Then around 11.30am on the Saturday, reports came in of two shattered car windscreens on Firwood Walk.

Officers are urging anyone who was in the area between 3pm (Friday) and 10.30am (Saturday) who saw anything suspicious to get in touch.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At around 10.50pm on Friday 11 October, we received a report of a smashed windscreen on a car in Fanshawe Walk.

"The following day, Saturday 12 October, at around 11.30am we received a second report of smashed windscreens on two vehicles on Firwood Walk.

"We are urging anyone who was in the area between 3pm (Friday) and 10.30am (Saturday) and thinks they may have seen anything suspicious to get in touch.

"The same goes for anyone with any dashcam or CCTV footage from around the time of the incident which may aid our investigation.

Crewe Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following suspected criminal damage of three vehicles in Crewe South (Cheshire Police).

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website, quoting IML: 1938059 (Fanshawe Walk) or IML-1938307 (Firwood Walk).

"Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
