Man arrested after male assaulted in broad daylight in Crewe

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault, after a male was assaulted in broad daylight in the St Barnabas area of Crewe.

On Wednesday 19 June, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on Frank Webb Avenue.

At 1:03pm, officers arrived the scene, discovering a 30-year-old man had been assaulted next to a bus stop.

A 30-year-old man was assaulted by a bus stop on Frank Webb Avenue and taken to hospital. He has since been discharged (Nub News).

The man was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested by officers for the assault.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 1:03pm on Wednesday 19 June, officers were called to Frank Webb Avenue in Crewe following a report of a 30-year-old man having been assaulted. 

"He was taken to hospital but has since been discharged. 

"A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, following the Frank Webb Avenue incident (Cheshire Police).

'Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting: IML 1850865.

"Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
