Motorcyclist hit by car in serious Crewe collision incident

A male motorcyclist was hit by a car in a serious Crewe collision over the weekend, causing significant traffic delays to an already congested road.

On Friday 15 November, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on Edleston Road, at its junction with Electricity Street.

Around 4.55pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a motorcyclist had been involved in a collision with a car.

The male motorcyclist was treated by North West Ambulance Service paramedics and taken to hospital (Nub News).

Edleston Road was blocked while the scene was cleared. Bus services were affected.

No arrests were made in the incident. Edleston Road remains heavily congested while Mill Street remains closed.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 4.55pm on Friday 15 November, police were called to reports of a collision on Edleston Road, Crewe. 

Edleston Road was blocked while the scene was cleared. Bus services were affected (Cheshire Police).

"The incident involved a car and a motorbike. 

"An ambulance attended to check over the motorcyclist and the road was blocked while the scene was cleared.
