Plans submitted to convert Crewe offices into new apartments
Plans have been submitted to convert a Crewe office building into four new apartments, with four parking spaces.
This November, applicant, Samir Karim, submitted a prior change of 196 Nantwich Road, formerly occupied by The Lady Verdin Trust charity.
Mr Karim proposes to convert the two-storey 2,308 square-foot Victorian building into two flats on each floor.
Bin storage will be located to the rear of the ground floor, in front of the car parking area.
The proposals for each flat are:
- Flat one: Two bedrooms, a kitchen/dining/living area, utility room, bathroom and fire escape
- Flat two: Bedroom, living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom and fire escape
- Flat three: Two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom and fire escape
- Flat four: Two bedrooms, living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom and fire escape
A Rory Mack description of the property reads: "The property occupies a prominent position on Nantwich Road around half a mile from the train station.
It is located 1.2 miles from Apollo Buckingham Health Sciences Campus and 0.6 miles from Cheshire College South and West."
The last date for submitting comments on the application is Monday 2 December, with a target decision date of Tuesday 31 December.
