Major incident: Crewe Business Park hit by total power outage following fire

Crewe Business Park was hit by a huge power outage, with all businesses out of power for over an hour.

At around 8.45am, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Electra Way.

This incident was caused by a fire at the park's substation, with firefighters at the scene for several hours.

The total power outage has been caused by a fire at a substation on Crewe Business Park (Nub News).

There were no power to any of the park's hundreds of businesses, including Radius, for around 65 minutes.

Engineers were called to the scene, with power restored around 9.50am.

Most of Crewe Business Parks offices closed following the incident. They have since reopened.
