Leading bus operator launches new service between Crewe and Nantwich
A leading bus operator has launched a new route running between Crewe and Nantwich - following the withdrawal of all Arriva services.
D&G launched the 84X service on Sunday 23 April - running seven days per week.
D&G's new service runs every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday, with an hourly bus on Sundays and bank holidays.
It stops at Colleys Lane, Willaston, but does not pass through Wistaston Road, Willaston
The 84X starts at 6:28am from Crewe (Monday to Friday) - with the last bus of the day leaving at 8:58pm.
On Saturdays, the 84X begins at 7:18am and finishes at 8:58pm.
On Sundays and bank holidays it begins at 9:28am and finishes at 5:58pm.
Arriva ended services from the Crewe and wider area on Saturday 22 April - Including its 84 service now operated by Stagecoach.
D&G Bus, Stagecoach and First Potteries have all stepped in to run additional services in Crewe.
D&G 'Crewe zone' tickets have now been renamed as the 'Crewe and Nantwich zone' - no longer covering the Sandbach area.
Bus users can travel on D&G's 84X for free (23 April - 29 April) and the Stagecoach's 84 for free (24 April - 30 April).
