A village Post Office on the outskirts of Crewe is set to temporarily close for extensive building works - creating a 'modern' and 'improved' store.
Betley Post Office, Main Road, reopened to the public at 8am on Tuesday 6 June - following over three weeks of extensive building works.
These works were undertaken by the premises' new owner with the Post Office's reopening pushed back five days from the original target.
On Monday 5 June, Betley Post Office confirmed it was ready to reopen - "delighted" with the refurbishment works.
A statement read: "We are delighted to announce that your newly-refurbished village shop and post office will re open its doors tomorrow morning at 8am.
"We welcome you all and we hope you love the new look as much as we do.
"Please be kind enough to share this post with all your friends and family and support your local shop.
"Kind regards - all the Team at Betley Village Shop."
Betley village residents will now benefit, from what Post Office has described as a "modern, improved store."
The Cheshire venue had temporarily closed on Saturday 13 May at 5pm and still takes dry cleaning.
