"The Eric Swan Sports Centre (Brittles) was absolutely buzzing and was a hive of activity with smiling, happy, excited children and adults.
"It has taken a tremendous amount of work from Wistaston Community Council volunteers to bring this event back after a three year break due to the pandemic.
"Many challenges had to be overcome and we would like to thank all the volunteers, especially the new ones who have stepped up in recent months.
"Thank you to Wistaston Parish Council for their continued support and to Wistaston Sports & Leisure Association who once again kindly allowed their facilities and pavilion building to be used during the event. "
"Thank you also to the following for their help in staging the parade: Caddick Construction for the traffic management training, Dutton Contractors and Traffic Management at Middlewich for the loan of signs and barriers, and Cockshades Farm at Wybunbury for the loan of a trailer to move everything about.
"This event wouldn't be possible without everyone's great efforts."
