Driver suffers 'minor injuries' in collision at Crewe retail park

A driver has sustained "minor injuries" following a collision at Crewe's main retail park, causing traffic chaos.

On Saturday 31 August, Cheshire Police received reports of a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Grand Junction Retail Park and Earle Street.

Grand Junction Retail Park and Earle Street became heavily congested while police dealt with the incident.

Motorists entering the park had to use Rainbow Street until the junction was cleared.

No arrests mere made in the incident, with the driver expected to make a full recovery.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 12.20pm on Saturday 31 August, police were called to reports of a collision at Grand Junction Retail Park, Crewe. 

"The incident involved two vehicles. One driver is believed to have suffered minor injuries."
