Crewe and Hanley bus service altered in new September changes
A bus service covering Crewe and Hanley has been altered from this September, now going under a different name.
The First Potteries 3 service was officially renamed 103 on Sunday 1 September.
There were also tweaks to the timetable, with later buses to Hanley and Kidsgrove, Monday to Friday.
Now, the last bus from Crewe Bus Station to Hanley departs at 8.50pm, arriving at 9.56pm.
A service from Crewe to Kidsgrove departs from South Cheshire at 9.50pm, arriving at Its Town Hall at 10.27pm.
The first bus from Crewe is 6.29am, with 25 services running to the Potteries each day.
On Saturdays, the first service departs Crewe at 7.12am, with the last bus leaving at 6.37pm, arriving into Hanley at 7.48pm.
Then, on Sundays, the 103 runs hourly from Crewe to Hanley between 9.53am and 6.53pm. The last service laves Crewe at 7.43pm, arriving at 8.46pm.
First Potteries commercial director, Ian Smith, said: "We remain committed to investing in the improvement of bus services across the Potteries area.
"These changes are driven by the valuable feedback we've received from both our customers and drivers, as we strive to enhance punctuality and ensure a positive travel experience for everyone.
"In areas where services are changing or being reduced, we have worked hard to provide alternative routes that those communities can access."
