Crewe shop closure extended by three months after court order
By Ryan Parker 9th Jul 2026
A closure order on Infinity Mini Market in Crewe town centre has been extended for a further three months.
Cheshire Police confirmed on Wednesday 8 July that officers secured the extension following a new court hearing.
The shop on Market Street was first closed on 16 April after a closure order was granted at Warrington Magistrates' Court.
Police said the extension means the premises will remain closed until at least October.
Infinity Mini Market was one of six premises recently shut following investigations into anti-social behaviour and failures to comply with age-restricted sales laws.
The original closure order followed reports of illegal activity at the shop, including anti-social behaviour and breaches of age limit restrictions when selling items.
Evidence was gathered by officers from the Crewe Problem Solving and Prevention Team and the Crewe Beat Team, working alongside Cheshire East Trading Standards.
Cheshire Police said the latest court order will allow officers to continue tackling crime and anti-social behaviour linked to the premises.
