Man, 37, arrested on suspicion of assault by beating in Crewe incident

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in Crewe.
On Tuesday 7 July, Cheshire Police were alerted to a domestic incident on Edleston Road.
At 11.10pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a person had been assaulted.
The 37-year-old male was arrested for the listed offences and currently remains in police custody.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 11.10pm on Tuesday 7 July, police were called to reports of a domestic incident on Edleston Road, Crewe.
"Police attended and a 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.
"The man remains in custody at this time."
