Crewe Alexandra's star striker suffered a freak injury while playing on his Xbox - ruling him out of his side's most recent match.
Courtney Baker-Richardson missed the Railwaymen's 0-0 away to Carlisle United on Saturday (October 1).
Chances were limited for both sides at Brunton Park - with Crewe slightly edging their opponents in terms of chances.
Baker-Richardson was sorely missed in front of goal - already netting six League Two goals.
The 26-year-old has hit the ground running since signing this summer - scoring at home against Harrogate Town, Sutton United, Northampton Town, Crawley Town and Mansfield Town.
Yesterday (October 2), Crewe Alexandra manager, Alex Morris, confirmed the player's freak injury news to Crewe Alexandra's website,
He said: "It's an area of his body where is has had issues before, and it's happened in an innocuous way, which is about right for us with injuries at the minute.
"He did it while he was playing on his Xbox, I think. He just dropped his leg on the sofa and tweaked it.
"There's nothing we can do; he will have treatment and hopefully it has settled down by Monday.
"If it hasn't, that's not a good sign and it will need scanning to see if it is a reoccurrence of what he's had previously."
Across all competitions this season, Baker-Richardson has netted seven times for Crewe.
The former Newport forward scored in a 4-1 Papa John's Trophy group stage defeat away to Bolton Wanderers.
Crewe are currently suffering from an injury crisis.
Callum Ainley has been ruled out for three months - needing surgery a dislocated shoulder.
At Carlisle, defender Zak Williams was taken off in the 41st-minute for Rio Adebisi.
Chris Long, Oliver Finney and Charlie Colkett are also injured.
Morris added: "We have players missing who can make a difference, but they are not with us so we have to get on with it.
"The lads who are out there, are giving everything. It's just we can't change things up as much as we'd like due to a lack of numbers."
