Company charged following Crewe crane collapse where three men were killed

A crane rental company is set to be prosecuted over health and safety breaches, following a serious incident in Crewe where three men died.
Rhys Barker, 18, from Castleford, David Newall, 36, from Bradford, and David Webb, 43, from Northampton, died following an incident on Dunwoody Way, on Wednesday 21 June, 2017.
Falcon Tower Crane Services Limited is accused of two breaches of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 at the former Bombardier Works site.
The firm, based in Shipdham, Norfolk, with a deposit in Heywood, Greater Manchester, rents over 450 types of tower cranes to building companies.
It is now due to appear before Chester Crown Court on Friday 6 October.
The site of the Crewe crane collapse incident is now operated by Telford Court Care Home.
