Closure order extended for Crewe town centre mini market
By Ryan Parker 19th Aug 2026
A convenience store in Crewe town centre has been had its closure order extended, following a new court hearing.
High Street Market, High Street, next door to High Street Car Wash, will now be closed until at least November.
The business has been shuttered since 8 May, following reports of "illegal activity" and failing to adhere to age limit restrictions.
Cheshire Police received reports of anti-social behaviour at the Crewe town centre premises, as well as the listed offences.
This shop closure comes after Infinity Mini Market, Market Street, was handed a closure order for three months, which has also been extended until at least October.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "We have managed to secure another three-month closure of the High Street Market on High Street, Crewe.
"The shop was initially closed by the Crewe Problem Solving Team on 8 May, but after a new court hearing, we have been granted a three-month extension on the closure.
"This establishment, along with the five other establishments we have recently closed, showed evidence of anti-social behaviour and failing to adhere to age limit restrictions when selling items."
