Car crashes into railings in incident at Crewe junction

No serious injuries were reported after a car crashed into railings at a junction in Crewe, in the West End of town.

On Thursday 1 February, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on West Street, at its junction with Dunwoody Way and Bessemer Way.

At around 2am, several officers arrived at the scene, discovering a blue Ford Focus had been involved in a collision near to the traffic lights.

A blue Ford Focus crashed into railings by a junction on West Street (Nub News).

Thankfully the driver was not seriously hurt, with police not making any arrests.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 2am on Thursday 1 February, police were called to a collision on West Street.

"Officers attended and found that a blue Ford Focus had collided with the railings near to the traffic lights.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries an no arrests were made."

There were no reports of any serious injuries, with Cheshire Police not making any arrests (Cheshire Police).
