Burger King UK is celebrating opening in Crewe by giving away 1,000 free Whopper or Chicken Royale burgers to lucky customers for one day only (Monday 17 March).

Opening at 10am, the deal is first-come-first-served from Burger King's new location on Grand Junction Retail Park, Earle Street.

While stocks last, customers simply need to order a Whopper or Chicken Royale (plus vegan and plant-based options) at the front counter or drive-thru to get their burger totally free.

Burger King returns to Crewe for the first time since the 1990s, previously operating in The Market Shopping Centre (former Clinton's unit) (Ryan Parker).

Not only this, the 100th customer who orders at the restaurant on 17 March will win a year's supply of Burger King at the Crewe restaurant (24 Whoppers or Chicken Royales).

The new Crewe restaurant has all-new in-restaurant innovations, including table service.

Customers had to be quick as there were only 100 tote bags available.

Regional operations manager at Burger King UK, Crewe location, Rich, told Nub News:"My team and I are thrilled to welcome our future customers.

"What better way to celebrate our opening than by giving away 1,000 of our iconic Whopper or Chicken Royale burgers? Make sure you arrive early to get your hands on one."

Burger King is open on Grand Junction Retail Park from 9am to 11pm, seven days a week (Ryan Parker).
