A 17-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with a man arrested, following a XL bully attack in Crewe.

On Tuesday 13 August, Cheshire Police received reports of a dog attack at an address on Rolls Avenue.

At 8:42am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a teenager with injuries.

Thankfully, these injuries sustained are not believed to be life-changing.

The dog involved in the incident, an XL bully, was seized from the Crewe property.

A 21-year-old man was also arrested in relation to the incident.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News; "At 8:42am on Tuesday 13 August, police were made aware that a 17-year-old boy had been bitten by a dog, an XL bully, inside an address on Rolls Avenue. 

"The boy had been taken to Leighton Hospital, although his injuries are not believed to be life-changing.

The dog involved in the incident, believed to be an XL bully, was seized from the Crewe property. A 21-year-old man was also arrested (Cheshire Police).

"Officers attended the address, and a 21-year-old man was arrested in relation to the incident.

"A dog has also been seized from the address."
