The retailer, which operates in the retailing of second hand and new jewellery, foreign currency exchange, pawnbroking loans and precious metals buying and selling, will take on a unit empty since July 2024.

Headquartered on Teesside, Ramsdens opened its first store in May 1987.
As of 31 January, 2026, it has a confirmed 173 UK branches trading.

Currently, the nearest Ramsdens stores to Crewe are in Altrincham and Warrington, over 20 miles away.
On its website, Ramsdens says: "We continue to have full confidence in the long-term profitable growth opportunities for our branch network, underpinned by diversified income streams and supplemented by a growing online presence.
"As a result, we are now accelerating our store opening programme and expect to add eight to 12 new locations in Fiscal Year 2026."
