A National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter assisted officers in searching for a missing local woman on Monday evening (February 2), who has now been found.

The 53-year-old was reported missing from her home in the Henhull area of Nantwich around 11.52am on Monday 2 February.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "NPAS were out in Crewe and Nantwich on the evening of Monday 2 February, assisting with the search of a missing woman.

"On the morning of Tuesday 3 February, the woman was found safe and well."

This article is an update to one published yesterday evening by CheshireLIve (who think Henhull is in Crewe). The first report was not published here and the update is not published there!

And that helicopter left Cheshire over 4years ago and is now based at Bournemouth.
